The Project; To build a desk which will accommodate several computers, fax machines

and scanners. To accommodate the many keyboards we will need to add a Sub-top.

The project is going to be delivered in a third story loft. The stairs entering this room are

small and narrow. This drawing reflects where the units will have to be sectioned in order

or achieve that goal.

We started by laying out the top and sizing round areas.

The upper top is now sized and is used to layout the sub-top (lower keyboard)

This is a back view of one of the lower (keyboard) sub-tops

The cabinets off to the left are the file cabinets. On the table is an under counter

cabinet. There is six of these cabinets used in this desk.

We have added the corner supports and back splash boards for the sub-top.

This is going to help keep things more orderly. The height has been made to

accommodate CD and DVD storage.

We have now installed the sub-top to the upper top.

With the addition of the other pieces, You can start to get a feel for the design

of this desk.

Here you can see the under counter units which will provide misc. storage.

With the top complete, we have to laminate the back splash and finish the file units.

The end caps being round add an additional element to the desk.

Now it's off to the finishing room to spray the wood areas with gray lacquer.

And we're Finished!!
